Proving value to high-profile donors with simply luxurious travel materials.
Partners In Health is a global health organization relentlessly committed to providing a preferential option for the poor in health care across 11 countries. PIH occasionally receives requests from high-value donors ($1MM+ donated) to travel to the country in which their donation was used. Traveling with PIH guides, these donors tour healthcare facilities to see the impact of their support.
Prior to travel, PIH provided a comprehensive cultural and travel guide to the country in question. However, these materials were utilitarian and formatted in Word. They did not reflect the value of the contributions made by the donors, nor meet a standard of presentation they may be used to in other aspects of their lives, including luxury travel.
After analyzing both the donors' journey and PIH's needs, I suggested a mix of finalized materials and InDesign templates for internal use. Prior to designing, I sourced or requested similar assets from luxury travel providers for style reference.
The InDesign template included one-click styles for imagery and H1-6 typography H1-6, callouts, tables, and an icon library. Items completed outright included 6 of the 12 travel packets and the cover system, which left room for growth into new countries.
